In line with the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University's research policy supporting the 20-year national strategy in logistics, the college is providing opportunities for its academic personnel to enhance their potential, skills, knowledge, and experience by conducting research with professors and researchers abroad. Consequently, the college is offering Post-Doctoral Research Grants to support academic personnel in undertaking post-doctoral research abroad in the fields of Optimization or Software Engineering. The details are as follows:
Support Provided:
1. Round-trip economy class airfare reimbursement, not exceeding 60,000 THB.
2. Monthly living expenses of 55,000 THB for a duration of up to 8 months.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Permanent university employees holding a lecturer position at the International College of Digital Innovation.
2. Ph.D. graduates within the last 5 years.
3. Experience or research work aligned with the college's research directions in Optimization or Software Engineering.
Grant Conditions:
1. Recipients must follow the university's regulations for taking leave for research purposes.
2. Recipients must sign a contract to conduct research abroad as per the university's requirements.
3. Recipients must submit a progress report every 4 months and a complete research report in two copies to their supervisors up to the President within 45 days after the research project ends.
4. Recipients must publish their research in an international academic journal indexed in ISI or Scopus, with the applicant as the first author or corresponding author or present their research in Optimization or Software Engineering to the college’s research management committee.

Interested academic personnel can submit their application documents to the Research Administration Unit, Room ICB1305, 3rd Floor, International College of Digital Innovation Building, from now until Tuesday, August 13, 2024, during office hours.
Selection Process:
The Research and Academic Service Administration Committee of the International College of Digital Innovation will review applications with complete qualifications and documents. The list of candidates eligible for the interview will be announced on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, on the website www.icdi.cmu.ac.th. The committee's decision is final.
