Vision, Mission, and Core Value of International College of Digital Innovation
Vision:
     To be lancang Mekong Digital Hub

Missions :
  1. Organize the international education in digital innovation Bachelor's degree and Smart SMEs at master's level cooperate with various departments in Chiang Mai University, other universities in both private and government sectors domestically and internationally by using the principle of international credit transfer, Multiple Entry-Multiple Exit, and TransNational Education
  2. Research and develop the knowledge on digital innovation for small and medium-sized enterprises, cluster policy, supply chain, technology, and business ecosystem by organizing doctorate research studies
  3. Academic services to digital industries, digital services, SMEs, government agencies, private sector, and communities in consulting, training, business incubation, and development
  4. Organize the study of digital innovation courses in Chiang Mai University to general students, including Pre-College, Advanced Placement (AP), General Education (GE), Liberal Arts and Sciences, Free Electives, Minor, as a foundation knowledge of Digital Literacy and Skills for the future economy and society

Strategic issues and strategies :

Strategic issue 1: Develop teaching and learning management into international standards, including acknowledgeable and superior academic knowledge in digital innovation and financial technology
          Objective:To be the primary unit of Chiang Mai University with an efficient management system in providing teaching and learning in digital technology with international standards and educate the students to understand the usage of digital technology, entrepreneurship, thinking, acting, and self-learning skills

Strategic issue 2: Developing and Supporting Research and Innovation and building academic networks with departments, faculties, and partner universities abroad
          Objective:To be a promotion unit and support the creation of research networks and academic networks between Chiang Mai University and various departments, faculties, and universities in the ASEAN region and internationally, in the areas of Cross Border Research, E-Commerce Research, Big Data Research, FinTech Research, and Law Research

Strategic issue 3: Developing academic services to benefit the use of expertise in digital technology
          Objective:To be a unit for integrating and implementing academic service projects to support the adoption of digital technology, to drive the development of government and private agencies, Promote and support advanced training to develop technology expertise skills, especially business incubation and innovation of alumni and entrepreneurs to prepare to enter the digital economy and society.

Strategic issue 4: Promoting the International Atmosphere and supporting the development of quality and international competence of students and staff
          Objective:To develop students, teachers, and staff to have quality and international competence and to support internationalization in Chiang Mai University

Strategic issue 5: Seeking Income for Sustainable Development
          Objective:To be a revenue-seeking unit from teaching management, international research, and academic services to create efficient systems and mechanisms for budgeting and spending budgets by allocating budgets under the International College's strategic plans, self-reliant
