Application Notice: Exchange Program at Chang’an University, P.R. China
Chiang Mai University students are invited to apply for the Exchange Program at Chang’an University, P.R. China.
1. Application Eligibility:
Students must be currently enrolled at Chiang Mai University and officially nominated by the university.
2. Program Duration:
One semester or one academic year
3. Program Benefits:

Tuition fee waiver

Students are responsible for all other expenses, including travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, etc.
4. Required Application Documents:

Valid ordinary passport (and valid residence permit if currently in China)

Study certificate from current university
-
Academic transcripts
-
"Physical Examination Record for Foreigners" (must be complete and valid within 6 months)

Non-criminal record certificate (issued within 6 months)

Applicants who submit a certificate of Chinese or English as the medium of instruction are exempt from submitting standardized language test scores. All documents not in Chinese or English must be accompanied by a certified translation.
5. Application Procedure:

Access the online application system at https://is.chd.edu.cn

Select the "Inter-School Exchange Program" and upload all required documents

Upon passing the preliminary review, pay the application fee of 400 RMB via the system

Monitor the system and your email for updates, review feedback, and admission results
Please ensure all contact information (email, phone number, mailing address) is accurate. Applicants must respond promptly to all communication. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

8. Admission and Registration:

Changes to major, semester, or language of instruction are not permitted after admission

Admitted students will receive an Admission Notice and Visa Application Form (JW202)

Only students holding an X1 visa will be allowed to register

Registration must follow the schedule specified in the Admission Notice
