Student Exchange Program at Ochanomizu University, Japan (Spring 2026)
Ochanomizu University, Japan, is now accepting applications for its Spring 2026 Exchange Program, offering two categories:

Exchange Student (Undergraduate and Graduate Students)
Participants are required to register for at least 8 classes per week, including Japanese language courses. Credits earned may be transferred back to CMU.

Exchange Research Student (Graduate Students only)
Participants will conduct research under the supervision of an academic advisor. They may attend certain courses with permission but will not earn credits from those courses.
All selected participants will receive a tuition fee waiver. However, students are responsible for all other expenses such as travel, accommodation, meals, and personal costs.

Eligibility Requirements

Female students only

Minimum GPA of 2.50

Sufficient Japanese language ability to participate in classes (except for Exchange Research Students who have approval from their advisor to use English)

Must return to CMU and complete the degree program after the exchange period
