Call for Proposals under ERASMUS+ 2026
The International Affairs Administration Center has been informed by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, to kindly disseminate information regarding the call for project proposals under the ERASMUS+ Programme 2026. The following actions are currently open for application:
1. Capacity Building for Higher Education (CBHE)
This action supports multilateral cooperation between higher education institutions in EU Member States (Programme Countries) and non-EU countries (Partner Countries), with the aim of modernising, enhancing quality, and increasing accessibility of higher education systems in partner countries.
Key activities include:

Development of new curricula

Promotion of governance reform and institutional management

Capacity building for staff and students to address global challenges
2. International Credit Mobility (ICM)
This action supports the mobility of students and staff between higher education institutions located in EU Member States and non-EU countries.
Key activities include:
Partial financial support is provided to promote international experience and strengthen academic cooperation networks.
3. Erasmus Mundus Actions: Joint Master and Design Measures
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM)
Supports high-quality, internationally integrated joint Master’s degree programmes delivered by consortia of higher education institutions from multiple countries. Students admitted to EMJM programmes receive scholarships and are required to undertake studies in several countries as part of the curriculum.
Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM)
Provides seed funding to higher education institutions to design and develop innovative international joint Master’s degree programmes, with the objective of preparing for future applications under the EMJM scheme.
4. Jean Monnet Actions
These actions promote excellence in teaching, learning, and research related to European Union Studies and the role of the European Union in the global context.
Key actions for higher education include:

Modules: Short-term teaching programmes or courses

Chairs: Support for distinguished professorships (3-year duration)

Centres of Excellence: Establishment of EU-focused centres of expertise
