MEXT Scholarship 2026 at Muroran Institute of Technology, Japan
Chiang Mai University has been informed by the Muroran Institute of Technology, Japan regarding the MEXT (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship 2026 for international students who wish to pursue Master’s or Doctoral degree studies at Muroran Institute of Technology. The program aims to promote international academic exchange and research collaboration.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

Be formally nominated by a university that has an academic exchange or partnership agreement with Muroran Institute of Technology

Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.30/3.00

Be under 35 years of age as of 1 April 2026 (born on or after 2 April 1991)

Demonstrate language proficiency equivalent to CEFR B2 in English or JLPT N2 in Japanese, or have completed a degree program conducted entirely in one of these languages

Obtain preliminary acceptance from an academic supervisor at Muroran Institute of Technology before submitting the application
