Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Opens Applications for the Global Connect Fellowship (GCF) 2026

Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, is now accepting applications for the Global Connect Fellowship (GCF), a research-focused programme offering students the opportunity to engage in experiential research under the supervision and mentorship of NTU faculty members and researchers.

The programme will take place over a two-month period, from 1 July to 31 August 2026. Selected participants will receive a research grant of SGD 5,000, along with accommodation support for the duration of the programme.

Applicant Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme (research-oriented)

  • Be scheduled to graduate in 2026–2027

  • Be studying in a field related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)

  • Demonstrate a strong interest in research or pursuing a doctoral degree at NTU

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00


Required Application Documents

Applicants are required to prepare the following documents:

  1. Copy of the completed online application form

  2. Certificate of Enrollment or Graduation Certificate

  3. Copy of ID photo

  4. Copy of academic transcript

  5. Copy of passport

  6. Academic Transcript in English

  7. Academic Referee Letters (optional)

  8. Statement of Purpose

  9. 2–3 minute video explaining the applicant’s motivation for applying to the programme

 

Internal Nomination Procedure (Chiang Mai University)

ICDI can nominate one qualified student for this program

Nominated students, together with all required application documents, must be submitted to the Ms. Tanya (Room ICB1103) by 8 February 2026.
