Sophia University Exchange Program – Autumn Semester 2026
Chiang Mai University, through the International Relations Division, has received an announcement from Sophia University, Japan, regarding the Sophia University Exchange Program for the Autumn Semester 2026. The program will take place from September 2026 to January 2027.
The program aims to enhance students’ academic skills and provide international learning experiences in a global environment. Students selected to participate in the exchange program will receive a tuition fee waiver from the host university. However, all other related expenses, such as travel costs, accommodation, insurance, and personal expenses, will be the responsibility of the participating students.
Applicant Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must not be in the final semester of their study program

Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00

Must demonstrate English proficiency (TOEFL / IELTS) or Japanese proficiency (JLPT) according to the requirements of the relevant faculty or program
