Changchun University Chinese Government Scholarship – 2026 International Study Camp in China

Changchun University, People's Republic of China, invites eligible international students, university lecturers, and young researchers to apply for the 2026 International Summer School Program under the Chinese Government Scholarship, entitled “Ice and Snow Weave Dreams, Wisdom and Innovation Forge the Future: 2026 Jilin's Ice-Snow Economy and China's Modernization Drive Study Camp.”

The program will take place from November 30 to December 14, 2026, offering participants an opportunity to explore China's ice-snow economy, international trade, economic development, and cultural innovation through academic courses, workshops, and practical learning activities.

Organized by the College of International Education and School of Economics, Changchun University, the program aims to promote international academic exchange, intercultural understanding, and knowledge sharing among students and scholars from different countries.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be an international applicant currently studying or working at a higher education institution or relevant organization outside China, including:

   • Undergraduate or graduate students

   • University lecturers and in-service teachers

   • Young researchers

2. Have a strong interest in international trade, the ice-snow economy, and related areas, preferably with relevant academic, research, or practical experience.

3. Applicants from Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia will receive priority consideration.

4. International students who are currently studying in China are not eligible to apply.

Financial Support

The program is supported by the Chinese Government Scholarship.

However, participants are responsible for certain expenses, including:

• International round-trip airfare

• Visa application fees

• Costs associated with cultural exchange activities arranged during the program

• Other expenses not covered by the scholarship

Applicable fees will be charged according to the relevant regulations and rates in effect at the time of payment.

Applicants are encouraged to confirm the specific scholarship coverage and any additional expenses with the program organizer before making travel arrangements.

Program Highlights

The study camp combines academic learning, cultural engagement, and practical experiences related to China's economic development and the ice-snow industry.

1. Chinese Language Courses

Participants will attend Chinese language classes designed to enhance their communication skills and understanding of Chinese language and culture.

2. Specialized Courses on the Ice-Snow Economy

Academic sessions will introduce participants to the business and economic dimensions of the ice-snow industry, including its relationship with international trade and China's modernization.

3. Ice-Snow Economy Cultural Workshops

Interactive workshops will provide opportunities to explore cultural and economic activities associated with Jilin Province's ice-snow economy.

4. Themed Visits and Practical Activities

Participants will take part in organized visits and experiential learning activities to gain practical insights into the local economy, industry, and culture.

5. International Cultural Exchange

The program will include an opening ceremony, ice-breaking activities with Chinese and international students, and a closing ceremony.
